Join NSA Houston and Accelerate Your Speaking Career in NSA - Houston

NSA Houston will help shorten your learning curve. The benefits you'll receive by being a member are limited only by your participation in activities and your use of the abundant resources available to members.

We welcome qualified speakers, and those who provide services to speakers, as members of the Houston chapter of the National Speakers Association. To join our local chapter, you must first be a member of the National Speakers Association. Please refer to the NSA Web site for membership criteria and fees, or call the NSA office at (480) 968-2552.

Chapter membership costs $156 per year, and entitles you to all our member benefits.

Your NSA Houston board wants to make every meeting this year a dynamic and compelling experience for our members to learn strategies and tactics that will help us all grow our respective businesses. Beyond that we want to provide opportunities for us to learn and grow outside of those monthly meetings! Here is what you have in store for the year ahead;

1. A newly designed website is now up and will allow us to position our members as the top subject matter experts in the Houston area. This website will also allow us a great opportunity to improve the networking needs of our local speaker community! Email Karen McCullough, CSP and whe will help you get your profile up with the help of our webmaster.

2. We will be providing our members the opportunity to add videos and audio to their own marketing page on the new website.

3. Don't have audio or a podcast to put on the website? Don't worry, we are going to provide you the opportunity to do just that as a member. Look for the sign up coming out!

4. Not enough? How about this! We have purchased the MP3 downloads from this year's NSA Convention in Phoenix and will be adding them to the new website. Want to be able to download them for free? You will be able to do so AT NO CHARGE if you are a NSA Houston member.

5. We will also be delivering a monthly webinar series for our members on subject matter that we all need to help grow our businesses.

6. We have also created social media presences you can take advantage of on Facebook and LinkedIn. Just search for NSA Houston in both, sign up and join in the conversation. We have videos and pictures on our Facebook site from the "Rock Star Boot Camp" you can enjoy now!

7. Do you Tweet? Follow what's going on with your chapter by following along using @nsahouston on www.twitter.com!

8. Can't make Saturday meetings? We hear you and have created three Thursday night meetings this year with our first one coming up in October!

9. We don't have enough time during our meetings just to visit each other and get to know what's up with our friends and peers. Ok! We are going to add a couple of social type events each month with a monthly luncheon and a monthly afternoon social gathering as well. Come and join us for these impromptu opportunities to connect!

Professional Member

To qualify for professional membership, the candidate must: * Be a member of the National Speakers Association, and * Pay the NSA Houston annual dues of $156.00 per year.

Associate Member

The only The requirement for Associate status is to pay the annual dues of $185.00 per year. However, Associate participation is only available for two years. Associates are encouraged to volunteer for at least one activity.

Vendor Member

A Vendor member ($156.00) include those businesses that sell products and services to speakers. These include printers, graphic artists, photographers, office supply companies and audio/video production companies. If the product or service you provide is of benefit to speakers, you are eligible to join NSA - Houston as a vendor member. You are not required to become a member of NSA National.
